RateShield was founded by Jack Ray, a licensed Illinois producer who grew up in the insurance industry. The mission has not changed since day one: make insurance as accessible and straightforward as it can possibly be.
A note from Jack
I grew up in the insurance industry, so I have watched people get handed policies they did not understand at prices nobody explained. I built RateShield to do the opposite of that.
RateShield is a system, not just an agency. We are building technology that does the tedious part of insurance for you: the chasing, the re-keying, the waiting on hold. You ask for coverage once, and minutes later a licensed agent is walking you through real numbers.
The advice itself stays human. I shop the carriers, I tell you what I would buy in your situation, and I tell you when the right answer is keeping the policy you already have. If anything we say is not clear, make us explain it again. That is the job.

We are not owned by a carrier and we do not push one company's products. When we compare the market, every recommendation is based on what fits your situation.
