RateShield is a registered trade name (DBA) of Jack Ray; all references to “RateShield” in these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our communications refer to Jack Ray, sole proprietor. RateShield is an insurance technology and marketing service. It is not an insurance agency, insurance broker, or insurance carrier, and it does not solicit, negotiate, quote, sell, bind, or service insurance. RateShield collects your request, performs data and document processing on it, and refers it to Lakeshore Risk Advisors LLC, an independent Illinois insurance brokerage. A licensed producer at Lakeshore Risk Advisors compares coverage options across the carriers that brokerage is appointed with and presents quotes at no cost to you. Any resulting policy is placed and serviced by Lakeshore Risk Advisors and underwritten and issued by the insurance carrier. Jack Ray is the founder of RateShield and is separately licensed as an Illinois insurance producer (license #22256937) acting through Lakeshore Risk Advisors when performing licensed activity.
While many homeowners find lower costs by comparing options, we do not guarantee any specific savings amount. Actual costs depend on your individual circumstances, protection needs, and the providers available in your area.
By submitting a request, you expressly consent to being contacted by Jack Ray (doing business as RateShield) and by Lakeshore Risk Advisors LLC and its licensed producers by telephone (including calls placed using an artificial, prerecorded, or AI-generated voice, or an automated dialing system), text message, and email at the contact information you provided. You acknowledge that some outreach may be generated by an AI assistant operating under the supervision of a licensed Illinois insurance producer; the assistant will identify itself as AI at the start of any call.
